Aventura. Adrenalina. Green Adventure

Te-ai întrebat vreodată care a fost cel mai frumos cadou primit de ziua ta? Eu pot spune fără nici o ezitare că cel mai frumos cadou primit de mine este un city break(29.11-02.12) în Băile Herculane alături de echipa Green Adventure .

Locația și programul din acele zile pentru mine au fost complet necunoscute (surpriza trebuia făcută până la capăt). Odată ajunși la Băile Herculane, ne-am cazat la hotelul Roman. Acest hotel are la bază o istorie foarte interesantă deținând la parterul său două din cele mai importante atracții turistice ale zonei și anume basorelieful lui Hercules și Băile Imperiale Romane al căror ctitor a fost chiar Împăratul Traian. În cadrul cinei am avut ocazia să îi cunoaștem pe organizatorii acestei aventuri, cât și pe ceilalți participanți. Ulterior, am mers să ne răsfățăm și să ne cunoaștem mai bine în bazinul cu apă termală din cadrul hotelului.

Cea de-a doua zi din cadrul acestei excursii a fost una plină de adrelină și peisaje care îți taie respirație( și asta nu din cauza frigului de afară). După un mic dejun copios, am mers spre Cazanele Dunării. Acolo, după ce am fost bine instruiți de ghizii noștri, am pornit în prima noastră aventură și anume: o plimbare cu caiacele pe Dunăre. Cuvintele sunt de prisos pentru a descrie acea senzație de extaz trăită. Ce poate fi mai frumos de 1 decembrie decât să ai parte de o plimbare cu caiacul de unde poți vizita două peșteri și să privești chipul lui Decebal din acesta? Seara evident a continuat cu o cină tradițională gustoasă și cu povești spuse savurând un pahar de vin.

După minunata experiență din ziua precedentă, nici nu mă gândeam ce mă va aștepta în cea de-a treia zi a experienței noastre cu Green Adventure.  Această zi ne-a demonstrat cât de recunoscători ar trebui să fim pentru tot ce avem în viața noastră. Am avut parte de o expediție pe munte spre satele Scărișoara și Ineleț, cunoscute ca fiind printre cele mai izolate locuri din țară. Drumul spre aceste sate a fost unul anevoios pe scări verticale sau poteci întortocheate. Acolo am găsit oameni simpli, care nu aveau curent electric, drumuri sau mașini. Casele erau la cel puțin 10 minute de mers distanță unele de altele. Acolo am învățat ce înseamnă simplitatea, bunătatea și modestia.

Have you ever wondered what was the most beautiful gift of your birthday? I can say without any doubts that the most beautiful gift I received is a city break (29.11-02.12) in Baile Herculane with the Green Adventure team.

The location and schedule of those days were completely unknown for me (the surprise had to be done to the end). Once we arrived at Baile Herculane, we stayed at the Roman hotel. This hotel is based on a very interesting history, having on its ground floor two of the most important tourist attractions of the area, the bas-relief of Hercules and the Roman Imperial Baths, whose founder was even the Emperor Trajan. At dinner, we had the opportunity to meet the organizers of this adventure as well as the other participants. Later, we went to chill and get to know ourselves better in the hotel's thermal water pool.

The second day of this trip was full of adrenaline and breathtaking landscapes (and that's not because of the cold outside). After a generous breakfast, we went to the Danube Boilers. There, after we were well trained by our guides, we started our first adventure: a kayaking ride on the Danube. The words are too little to describe that feeling of enthuziasm. What can be more beautiful on a 1 December than have a kayak ride where you can visit two caves and look at Decebal's face from it? Obviously, the evening continued with a tasty traditional dinner and stories told in front of a glass of wine.

After the wonderful experience of the day before, I did not even think about what to expect on the third day of our Green Adventure experience. This day has shown us how grateful we should be for all we have in our lives. We had an expedition on the mountain to the Scărişoara and Inelet villages, known to be among the most isolated places in the country. The road to these villages was difficult with vertical stairs or winding paths. There we found simple people who did not have electricity, roads or cars. The houses were at least 10 minutes away from each other. There I learned what simplicity, kindness and modesty means.
